RENAISSANCE has been certified as one of the “White 500” companies (large enterprise category) under the 2023 Certified Health & Productivity Management Organization Recognition Program that is jointly selected by METI and Nippon Kenko Kaigi (an organization comprising leaders of the business community, medical-related organizations, and municipal organizations). The aim of this program is to expand the number of enterprises practicing health and productivity management. This program is designed to honor large, medium, and small enterprises that are practicing excellent health and productivity management, including initiatives that meet local issues and initiatives promoted by the Nippon Kenko Kaigi. We will continue to actively support the health of our employees and promote health and productivity management.

The DBJ Employees’ Health Management Rated Loan Program is the world’s first financing menu to introduce a method of “health and productivity management,” which evaluates and selects companies that excel in initiatives pertaining to employees’ health and workstyles.
RENAISSANCE was evaluated not only for its practice of health and productivity management that contributes to the enhancement of corporate value and initiatives for specific improvements of lifestyle habits but also for its provision of motivation for maintaining and improving health and the formation of workplaces where diverse human resources feel comfortable. The company thus obtained the highest ranking and received a loan based on said evaluation.

Organized by the Japan Sports Agency, the “Sports Yell Company” (national sports promotion company) Certification Program is a way of recognizing companies that proactively encourages employees to engage in sports to improve their health. The aim of the program is to nurture a social trend towards sports and encourage people in the “prime human resources” age-group, which tends to have insufficient exercise to engage in sports.
Since announcing the RENAISSANCE Health and Productivity Management declaration, RENAISSANCE has strived to improve the health of its employees. The certificate was presented to the company in recognition of its efforts, which include proactively supporting employees to participate in running events and sports tournaments and allowing employees to participate in sports club activities in the studios where they work on days when they are closed or before opening hours.
Ranked as “Bronze” for the second consecutive year at the Sports Yell Company 2023 as a result of being certified for six consecutive years.

The Sports Promotion Company Certification Program is organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Under the program, which was established in FY2015, the Bureau of Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 Preparation presents certificates each year to companies that actively support and encourage employees to participate in sports activities or to those who are engaged in activities that contribute to society in the field of sports including support of athletes, organizations, and events.

Having announced the RENAISSANCE Health and Productivity Management declaration, RENAISSANCE has promoted a proactive program of health support for employees in conjunction with a systematic reform of employees’ working styles. The company has also fostered and encouraged various in-house club activities, while continuously promoting a wide range of initiatives such as encouraging head office employees to participate in fitness training. RENAISSANCE has been awarded the certificate eight years in a row since FY2015.
RENAISSANCE was also selected as the 2022 Tokyo Sports Promotion Model Company by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (Support category) as a company that is engaged in initiatives with strong social impact and ripple effects.

RENAISSANCE was awarded “SILVER” at “PRIDE Index,” an evaluation index by “work with Pride,” a voluntary organization that aims to “create LGBT-friendly workplaces in Japan beyond the framework of companies and organizations, etc.”

In FY 2022, RENAISSANCE was recognized as Best Workplace, which is the top rating at the D&I Award. The D&I Award is the first recognition system in Japan to certify and recognize companies that address D&I (Diversity and Inclusion).

Best Workplace recognition is given to a company that addresses D&I at the high level not only domestically, but also globally in an advanced manner. It also gives recognition to a company where each employee actively engages themselves as an individual to promote D&I in addition to cultivating a corporate culture which respects D&I. The philosophy of D&I is reflected in various aspects such as service, business, and corporate organization of the company and it has good ripple effects even outside of the company.

RENAISSANCE has been awarded the ★★ Navy Blue certification under the The Omotenashi Standard Certification Program established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. The aim of this program is to visualize the quality of service provided by businesses in the service industry through the award of certificates, and to thereby revitalize the service industry and local economies.
Since FY2017, the “★★ Navy Blue” certification was awarded annually to Sports Club RENAISSANCE, which is run by our company. In addition to RENAISSANCE’s efforts to respect the desires of its customers, the continuous efforts to nurture the development and growth of employees through measures such as improving its manuals and training systems and the utilization of digital tools were highly valued.

In FY2020, Renaissance became the first company in the fitness industry to be recognized for Nadeshiko Brand, which is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Tokyo Stock Exchange, for our role in promoting women’s active roles.
Aiming to create new values through active roles played by employees with a diverse sense of values and experiences, we also position the “Promotion of Diversity and Inclusion” as one of our important management strategies in terms of securing said diversity and inclusion.
We especially position the promotion of active roles played by women in workplaces as a key measure, in the form of Career Design Training and Career Interviews, which address human resource development from a medium- and long-term perspective. Also, in terms of the promotion of compatibility between working and child-rearing, we launched the RenaiFami+ Project, which hosts volunteers striving to create a corporate culture and environment where everyone can assume active roles through various working group activities.

Renaissance applied for the “beyond 2020 My Best Program” and was selected as one of the first certified businesses. It is sponsored by the secretariat of the Headquarters for the Promotion of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the Cabinet Secretariat.
This certification was awarded for the initiative of “Renai-Pic My Best Achievement Support Program,” held for the members of the junior swimming schools at 76 of our sports clubs.
We provide better environments where children can feel the joy of achieving targets and naturally improve their skills, while also enjoying a great time, promoting initiatives that lead to mental and physical growth.
